Halloween PC Launch!!!
– Tue, Oct 31, 2017 at 09:13:09 PM
First let me say, for those of waiting for XBox One and PS4 -- I know it sucks to have a scattered launch window, but the wait will be worth it. So far everything is on schedule and the game is looking awesome on both platforms. The Your time is coming... for some of you, sooner than you think. Stay tuned for some breaking news later this week.
We're also going to let all of the console backers keep your Beta keys for the Steam PC game for a while longer so you can continue to play. As we get closer to console launch we will deactivate those keys, but we will let everyone know before we do that.
For the PC backers...
WE DID IT!!! MFL HAS LAUNCHED ON STEAM!!!
Everyone who has a PC Beta Steam key you don't need to do anything. The key you have will give you access to the final product.
We will still be adding content via updates for the foreseeable future. Like we discussed previously, we still owe you guys demons and werewolves and we'll be adding more teams and other goodies over the next 6 months. This product is going to evolve over time.
HOW YOU CAN HELP MLF!
1). Write a Steam Review! A thoughtful review by the community goes a long way on the MFL Steam page.
2). Make some noise!!! Spread the word!!! Let your friends know via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social media sites.
3). Keep providing feedback and comments. This is the first version of the game. It's going to get better over time. If you see bugs or exploits let us know. If you have a cool idea, don't hold back.
Thank you all for your help, ideas and support to make this possible.
The MFL Team.
10/19/2017 MFL STEAM UPDATE
– Thu, Oct 19, 2017 at 03:14:18 PM
Hi there! We've delivered another Steam update. And it has some major changes:
Based on your feedback we've added Game Speed setting. It makes game faster or slower by changing some global attributes. You can switch it before each match in Team Selection screen (press X - Game Settings). We need your help to figure out what option should be default. Please, try it out and fill our survey:
Finally, MFL doesn't require a gamepad to play it. We've reworked all our UI and input system to add keyboard support. If you need help with keyboard bindings - try use tutorial or go directly to the Keyboard Map screen. As always, your feedback on this feature is highly appreciated.

Open Beta on Steam Now!!!
– Wed, Sep 27, 2017 at 12:50:26 AM
Just wanted to check in and say thanks to all of you for making this all happen! Everything happening is because of all of YOU!!!
Today we went into Steam Early Access (Open Beta) to a pretty decent response. We were sitting at #1 in trending for a good chunk of the day (now we're around #5). If you haven’t seen our store check it out (just click the pict):
WRITE AN MFL STEAM REVIEW!
For those of you who have been playing, if you can spare a few minutes and write a review it will really help the game out. Those player reviews are so important for the success of Mutant Football League, because the more reviews, the more visibility the game gets on Steam. That visibility translates into more people playing the game, which is what we need. So if you can help us out, please do. The MFL team, along with Bomb Shady will be eternally grateful. Good or bad, write a review.
We also simulated the Malice Hellboys vs. Midway Mutants Monster night football game and picked the winner correctly. If you haven't seen it here it is:
We'll try to get another video created for the Midway Mutants vs. Grim Bay Attackers game.
We'll be putting out a Steam demo before the weekend so people can give the game a test drive.
The next hurdle is finishing the game on PC, submitting to Microsoft and Sony and trying to hit our ship dates.
While we’re doing all that we’ll also be getting the Retro packages completed. Here’s a comp of what the boxes will look like.
This cover was designed by Maxim's (our CTO and co-founder of Digital Dreams) wife, Diana Novikova. Pretty cool, eh? Diana is also designing the manual.
We’re a little behind on the fulfillment side, but we'll start sending shirts out this week. The Genesis, PC retro packs are just about ready for printing. We're sorry for the delay’s, but our main priority has been to get the game as good as it can be. As we go into certification for Xbox One and PS4 over the next few weeks, we will slowly shift our focus back to getting you all of your rewards... and get the demon and werewolf characters rolling too.
The Steam PC Launch will happen around October 24th just in time for Halloween. We should also have a few surprises to announce too (providing everything goes well).
Have fun playing and please write some Steam reviews for MFL!
