Hi MFL Backers,
WE DID IT!!! Today is launch day!!! Thank you ALL for helping us reach this incredible milestone!
Sony said it will take several hours for the game to appear on the PSN Store. We were all hoping it was going to be live at midnight, but that's not the case. So please hang in there, it should appear later today. No one is happy about this but it's beyond our control.
Our team will start to send out the PS4 codes as we receive them from Sony (Sony said about 2:00pm Pacific time).
So please check your in-boxes later today, redeem those codes get laced up, and take the field!
As mentioned in the previous update, we’re launching the game at the competitive price of $19.99 to help ensure a successful release. More players mean more people playing online and cutting $5 should go a long way to boost the number of blood-filled, bone crunching hits and positive buzz.
Since we’re dropping the price for new players, and to reward your support and patronage, we’ll deliver Dynasty Mode, new teams, online improvements and of course, our Demon and Werewolf specifies FREE for all backers. Expect it to trickle out starting around end of February 2018.
And lastly, help make the game a success by sharing your fun with everyone online. Share screenshots, broadcasts, bragging rights and monster hits on Facbeook, Twitter, reddit, twitch, Youtube to inspire other folks to check it out and join the community.

Almost across the goal line!!!
Hi Everyone,
We’re 2 days from our launch date and it’s been a long and tough battle and we’re here. The game will be releasing on XBox Live and Playstation Network on Friday, January 19th. Man, it’s been a great journey and rewarding experience for us.
There is only one reason we were able to ship this game and that’s because of all of YOU! From everyone on the MFL team we want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU!!!
We had a tough call to make and made the decision to release the game at a $19.99 price point instead of $24.99. Many of you have suggested we do this to increase game population. We ran a test on Steam in December and the results were positive. More players means more people playing online.
Right now our main focus is to get as many people playing this game as possible and we believe the $19.99 price point is critical to do this. Our goal is to make this game a success so we can continue to develop the game and build on it. We have a young fun game, overtime it will mature and only get better.
Features we are working on include Dynasty Mode, which allows Users to play multiple seasons to take a low rated existing team and make it a Dynasty. Users will be able to customize their playbooks and Dirty Tricks, and most importantly gain player experience. You will be able to upgrade Players from Rookies all the way up to All-Stars. Dynasty Mode will be delivered for FREE in late February / March timeframe. We hope this helps take some of the sting away from the price reduction.
We will also be delivering new teams, online improvements, and of course the Demon and Werewolf species over the next several months.
PS4 Codes
We will be sending out codes on January 19th. This is when they will be available. The team will be hands on to get everyone their codes on Day 1.
We will be sending your codes to your email addresses and via Private Kickstarter messaging.
Rewards
The final rewards, Player Cards, Retro Genesis box and PC Collectible Box will be sent out after launch. Everyone will be receiving their rewards over the next 3 or 4 weeks.
Players who designed plays, all plays will be in the game when we release Dynasty.

2018 is going to be the year of Mutant Football!
Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year and give you a quick update on what's going with our Console Launch!
JAN 19, 2018 - MFL LAUNCH DATE
MFL is almost here...
We're excited to announce we will be releasing the digital game for Playstation 4 and XBox One on January 19th, 2018 - just in time for the conference championship games! This won't be the end for this project, rather it's just the beginning. All of you carried this project across the finish line by backing and supporting us, but the finish line is really the starting line for MFL. Now that we have a game we need to compete in the market place, and we're hard at work to make this game a success across all platforms.
Here is just a taste of what we will be adding to the game in 2018.
Dynasty Mode
The community on Steam and XBox Game Preview Program have requested a season mode with more depth, so the MFL team led by our tech lead, Ivan Zaplava have been working on a feature called Dynasty, which will be delivered to all of you as a FREE update sometime in February / March.
Dynasty Mode allows the User to play multiple seasons and the goal is to win multiple Mayhem Bowls and become an MFL Dynasty.
In Dynasty mode you can pick from any of our 18 teams. These teams will have a very low overall rating when you begin. All of your players will be rookies, and you will have a limited playbook. As you play, your players will gain experience, which you can add and adjust to their individual attributes. So for example, as your Quarterback's Intelligence increases, so does his playbook. As your players gain experience, they can be upgraded from Rookie to Pro to All-Pro, All-Star and even a Legend. User's can also customize their playbooks and swap in and out Dirty Tricks from teams they have defeated.
Other Stuff...
We're also adding features, which will enhance online play, like receiving messages when you're playing a single player game that notifies you when someone wants to play online.
And getting rid of locked teams for the NFL parody teams (our MFL Fantasy teams like Orcs of Hazzard will still be locked, though).
And giving you a new run camera, which is slightly higher.
And the new character species are coming...
Werewolf & Demon Species
While not in the game yet, these characters are being developed. Here is a sneak peak look at our our in-progress Werewolf species. This is the 1st time we're showing him.

We currently are sitting at a 75 Metacritic, but sadly we have no User reviews. Metacritic is very important for our project for now and in the future. Retailers look at Metacritic, Publishers do too - we'd like to continue making Mutant League games in the future, and showing positive reviews and sales will go a long way to help us do this. Kickstarter Rewards Status
Sorry guys, I know it's been slow going but rewards are coming. It's a one man show on my side and we've been sending out rewards over the last few weeks with more coming. We've received everything for the Sega Retro Genesis and PC Boxes but are still waiting on the final manual to finish printing. Once we have those, we'll be sending those out.
